Denise Bates-Crabb Sphr

Denise Bates-Crabb, SPHR, MBA has extensive experience in human resources across various industries. Denise is currently serving as a VP of Human Resources at WTI, a newly formed Wood Technologies International Company. In this role, Denise is responsible for developing HR strategies and programs that align with the company's vision and strategy. Denise also focuses on maximizing employee development, engagement, and utilization to support the company's goals and culture. Prior to their current position, Denise held the same role at USNR.

Before joining WTI and USNR, Denise worked as a Senior Human Resources Manager at nLIGHT. Denise'sresponsibilities included overseeing HR programs and policies, team member development and relations, recruitment and staffing, performance management, benefits and compensation administration, and training.

Earlier in their career, Denise served as a Human Resources Manager at Blount International, Inc., where they managed HR functions for a manufacturing location in Portland. Denise also served as a Board Member at Zeitgeist Northwest and Metro East Employer Council during this time.

Denise started their career at IWS Industrie Werke Saar Germany, where they completed a business management apprenticeship with a focus on European HR law.

Denise Bates-Crabb, SPHR, MBA has a diverse education history. Denise earned a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Organizational Behavior Studies from Marylhurst University in 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Human Resources Management from Upper Iowa University in 2004. Denise also holds an AA degree from Barton Community College, although the field of study is unknown. In 1999, they received an AA in Business Administration with a focus on Business and European Employment Law from Berufschule in Germany.
