Tom Schroeder

Tom Schroeder has extensive work experience spanning several fields and roles. Tom is currently working at Simple Thread as a Senior Engineer, where they focus on UX Design, Software Engineering, and DevOps. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Cloud Computing at Astraea, Inc., where they worked on developing an integrated artificial intelligence platform for geospatial data. Before joining Astraea, they worked as a Senior Engineer at Blackhawk Enterprise Incorporated and as a Database Engineer at Secure Database Solutions. Tom also has experience as a Software Developer, Lead at CACI, International and as a Senior Biotech Analyst at JALAA Equities, LP. Tom began their career at Stratagene, where they worked as a Production Associate.

Tom Schroeder attended the University of Mary Washington from 1992 to 1996, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology. In 2005 to 2006, they studied IT Security at the University of Denver, although they did not complete a degree in this field.
