Kunyu Sun

Kunyu Sun is an experienced Cloud Engineer with a strong background in developing and optimizing cloud infrastructure. Currently at SimpleHealth, Kunyu has refactored legacy systems, implemented CI/CD automation processes, and designed a data masking system for HIPAA compliance, resulting in significant cost savings. Previous experience includes working at Ahana, where Prest is deployed on an auto-scaling Kubernetes cluster, and projects involving extensive use of AWS services. At KALO Inc., Kunyu led a development team and launched an app that gained a substantial user base, and at the New York Institute of Technology, research contributions included designing a color barcode transmission system. Kunyu holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the New York Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Jinan.
