Shay Nissel

Shay Nissel has a strong background in software engineering and development. They currently hold the position of Principal Software Engineer at SimpleNexus, an nCino Company since 2023. Prior to this role, Shay served as the Vice President of Engineering at ReverseVision from September 2021 to June 2023. They also worked as a Solutions Architect and Software Engineering Manager at ReverseVision from 2019 to 2021.

Before joining ReverseVision, Shay worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Aya Healthcare from December 2018 to May 2019. They were responsible for consolidating multiple older technology APIs to .NET Core API and providing technical support and code reviews.

Shay also worked as a Back-End Architect (Contract) at Innovaticx from June 2018 to December 2018. During this time, they designed a back-end API for a location-based multiplayer gaming platform and improved performance and stability of back-end services.

Additionally, Shay held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Relativity from March 2018 to November 2018. They analyzed and investigated defects in the e-Discovery software, provided solutions for infrastructure weaknesses, and supported external developers using the platform's APIs.

Earlier in their career, Shay worked as a Senior Software Engineer at ReverseVision, where they updated the flagship product and planned a strategy for migrating applications and services to a PaaS provider. They also served as a Senior Software Developer at Oceaneering and worked on the release of PortVision 360, a ship tracking application.

Shay started their career as a Software Development Team Lead at Learning Evolution, where they developed a customized CMS and provided solutions for a Learning Management System. They also worked as a Senior Web Developer at Chowwy and a Web Application Developer at EventAct.

Shay Nissel completed their high school education from Amal Alef High School from 1997 to 2001, obtaining a High School Diploma in the field of Design and Development of Administrative and Technological Systems.
