Rusty Martin

Rusty Martin is a System Engineer at Simplesense since April 2022, with prior experience as a Lead Software Engineer developing IoT lighting solutions at Cooper Lighting Solutions from January 2020 to March 2022. Rusty has a robust background at Eaton in various roles, including Systems Technical Team Leader for Connected Buildings, where responsibilities encompassed project leadership, team mentoring, and wireless technology integration. Additional positions at Eaton included Systems & Controls Integration Engineer and Mechanical Engineer, where Rusty engaged in sensor integration, regulatory testing, and product design. Rusty began career development through the Engineering & Technology Leadership Program at Eaton, with rotations in aerospace and circuit breakers. Rusty holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
