Lester Crockett

Lester Crockett is an experienced derivatives trader with a robust history in the trading industry, currently serving as a Derivatives Trader at Simplex Trading LLC since August 2022. Additionally, Lester is a committee member of the Floor Conduct Committee at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. since June 2018, acting as an arbiter in conflicts. Previous positions include roles as a Derivatives Trader at BlackEdge Capital, Lupo Futures, LLC, and numerous senior trading positions, including Senior Trader at Bluefin Trading LLC and SMW Trading Company, Inc., and Associate Director at Bear Stearns & Co. Lester’s career began as a Partner at Chicago Options Associates, Inc. and includes experience as an FX Derivatives Trader at Spear, Leeds & Kellogg. Education was completed at Northwestern University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science, and earlier studies were conducted at EARJ - Escola Americana do Rio de Janeiro.
