Tomáš Kučera

Tomáš Kučera has extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Tomáš started their career as an IT Consultant at PragoData Consulting, where they specialized in ERP systems and business intelligence tools. Tomáš provided implementations, consultations, and support for various systems including Oracle Applications, SAP, JDE, SQL, Business Objects, and Oracle Discoverer.

Tomáš then joined Lutech Resources Czech Republic s.r.o. as a Finance Manager in 2013 and held the position until 2018. During their tenure, they managed financial operations and contributed to the company's success.

In 2002, Tomáš joined CB&I and took on various roles including Financial Systems Manager, Project Accounting Manager, and Finance Manager. Tomáš excelled in financial management, project control, and accounting. Their expertise made significant contributions to the company's financial performance.

In 2018, they joined Simplity as the Finance Manager and Head of Shared services. In this role, they led the Legal, IT, Finance, and HR departments. Tomáš supervised project controlling, reporting, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and hedging currency exposure.

Currently, Tomáš works as an Accounting Manager at McDermott International, Ltd, leading the accounting department and overseeing statutory accounting, as well as external and internal audits. Tomáš continues to apply their expertise to drive success in their current role.

Tomáš Kučera completed their education at Staffordshire University from 2013 to 2016, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Senior Executive. Prior to that, they attended Masaryk University Brno from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a degree in Obchodní podnikání / Commercial undertaking (Ing.). In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in Financial Analysis: Making Business Projections from LinkedIn in March 2022.
