Raquel Sheil has extensive experience in human resources and organizational change management. Raquel began their career at Cadbury plc., where they served as an HR Business Partner, working closely with the Marketing, Science & Technology, and Strategy teams. Raquel led change management and organizational design initiatives during their time at Cadbury.
Raquel then joined Simplot Australia Pty Ltd as a Talent Manager, where they focused on talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement. Raquel also led organizational redesign projects and developed the company's diversity agenda.
At J.R. Simplot Company, Sheil held various senior leadership roles, including Director of Talent & Culture and Senior Director of Organizational Change Management and Organizational Design. In these roles, they established COEs for talent and culture and OCM, respectively. Raquel led strategic initiatives to develop and embed global operating models, people capabilities, and structures across the organization.
Currently, Sheil is the Director of HR Global Operations at J.R. Simplot Company, where they oversee HR operations on a global scale.
Raquel Sheil completed their Bachelor of Business in Industrial Relations & Human Resource Management from RMIT University between 1998 and 2001. Raquel also obtained a Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner certification from Prosci in 2020.
