Matthew Aldana

Matthew Aldana, BA, MSW, LCSW, currently serves as a Child, Adolescent & Young Adult, Adult Therapist and Intern Supervisor at Simply Bee Counseling, where responsibilities include conducting weekly individual therapy and creating family engagement plans for minor clients. Previous experience includes working as an Adult Group Therapist II at Compass Health Center, where Matthew facilitated group therapy sessions using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, assessed patients for safety, and tracked therapeutic processes. Additional roles encompassed being a Williams and Colbert Consent Decree Care Manager at Community Alternatives Unlimited, social work internships at Taft High School and I AM Able Center for Family Development, and various customer service positions. Matthew holds a Master of Social Work from Northeastern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the same institution.
