Candace Colvard

Candace Colvard has a strong background in finance and operations. Candace currently holds the position of Chief Financial & Operating Officer at SimplyBank, starting in January 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Directing Financial & Operating Officer at SimplyBank from February 2021 to January 2022. Before joining SimplyBank, Candace worked as a Senior Financial Officer for the same company from September 2019 to February 2021. Candace also held the position of Controller/VP at SimplyBank from November 2018 to September 2019.

Before joining SimplyBank, Candace worked at Mountain Valley Bank as the VP & Controller from June 2015 to November 2018. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Financial Consultant-Audit at Unum from July 2012 to June 2015.

Candace Colvard earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. After that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the same institution, completing it in 2013. In November 2014, Candace obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant from the State Board of Accountancy.
