Ella Roy has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Ella is currently a Customer Success Manager at Zeffy, starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they co-founded a creative agency called My Media Creative in 2019, where they built campaigns and brands for over 100 nonprofits and managed a team of 4 staff and 3 contractors. In 2021, Ella interned as a Strategy and Communications Intern at SHORT CUTS GmbH design + kommunikation, providing support on consulting contracts and assisting in strategy workshops. Ella also served as a Design Coordinator at McGill Model United Nations Assembly from June 2020 to January 2021. In 2019, Ella gained experience as a Public Affairs and Communications Intern at The Governing Mayor of Berlin - Senate Chancellery and participated as a Daughters of the Vote Delegate at Equal Voice. Ella has also co-founded and coordinated Kriyā Iron, a project focused on addressing anemia in rural Maharashtra, and was a finalist for the UWC Aurora Humanitarian Grant in Dilijan, Armenia in 2017.
Ella Roy completed their education in a chronological manner. Ella attended Berkeley International School from 2013 to 2016, where they pursued the American Highschool Curriculum. Following that, they enrolled at UWC Mahindra College from 2016 to 2018 and obtained their International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBDP), focusing on coursework such as Global Politics, English L&L, French (HL), German, Mathematics, and Biology (SL). In May 2018, Ella earned both the Bilingual IB Diploma from the International Baccalaureate and the United World College Diploma from UWC Mahindra College. Finally, from 2018 to 2021, they attended McGill University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a Major in Political Science and double minors in Economics and Social Entrepreneurship. Additionally, Ella obtained several certifications, including Music Theory Grade 6, Singing Grade 7, and Cello Grade 7, from ABRSM in various months and years.
