Stephen Smith

Stephen Smith is the Co-Founder and CEO of SimplyPut, a position held since November 2021. Prior to this role, Stephen founded Alias in 2020 and served at Atlassian from 2014 to 2020 as both Analytics and Data Science Manager and Data Scientist. Stephen's earlier experience includes working as a Management Consultant at The Parthenon Group from 2012 to 2014, and as a Physics PhD Student and Astrophysics Researcher at UC San Diego from 2009 to 2012, where also held the position of Physics TA. Additionally, Stephen conducted research as a High Energy Physics Researcher at Fermilab from 2007 to 2009. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Duke University and a Master of Science in Physics from UC San Diego.
