Jon Mell has extensive experience in various leadership roles in the technology and software industry. Jon is currently serving as the Vice President of Global Customer Success at Simpro Software. Prior to that, they worked as an Angel Investor at spacebands and TeamSportz.Pro. Jon also served as the VP of Sales and Customer Success at an undisclosed company. Jon held the position of Chief Customer Officer and Head of Growth Sales at Board Intelligence, where they were responsible for expanding the number of clients and overseeing customer success. Jon has also worked at OutSystems as the VP of Customer Success, EMEA, leading a team that helped clients achieve desired outcomes. Earlier in their career, Jon held positions at Medidata Solutions, IBM, Headshift, and Trovus, where they gained experience in sales, marketing, and consulting roles.
Jon Mell obtained a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Cambridge in 2000. Jon has also obtained various certifications, including Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals from IBM (in progress, obtained year: 2024), MEDDPICC Masterclass from MEDDICC (in progress, obtained year: 2024), Cloud & Cognitive Patterns from IBM (obtained year: 2017), Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner from IBM (obtained year: 2016), and IBM Selling Profession Certification - Expert from IBM (obtained year: 2013).
