Thao Nguyen

Thao Nguyen currently serves as the Quality & Lean Manager at Simpson Strong-Tie since March 2015, overseeing the quality management system, providing training, and analyzing data for reporting to management. Previously, Thao held positions including Software QA Team Lead, where responsibilities included improving software quality for truss design, defining project scopes, and facilitating Agile processes. Thao’s experience also encompasses a role as Senior Designer at Platinum Global, focusing on timber truss quotations for Australian clients, and as System Control Staff at Kurabe Industrial Co., Ltd, managing ISO 9001:2008 quality systems. Educational qualifications include an M.B.A. in Organizational Behavior from HCMC University of Technology and an Engineer’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the same institution.
