Douglas Tabb

Douglas has been employed at the Sims Financial Group, Inc. since 2010 after working for a short time with Bankers Life Insurance. He is an experienced business person and has over 35 years of working in corporate human resource management positions and operating a small business.

After serving in the Army as a Captain, Mr. Tabb pursued a career as a Human Resource professional for 20 years with such companies as Carrier Air Conditioning Company, United Technologies, Inc., and Federal Express, Inc. During those years, Mr. Tabb assisted thousands of employees with benefits issues and retirement questions as well as negotiated labor contracts and represented the companies at arbitration. As Senior Manager of Personnel Division Administration at Federal Express, Inc., Mr. Tabb coordinated the senior staff of human resources and provided guidance and administrative support for the Sr. VP and the 400 members of the Human Resources Division.
