Arnaud Gotlieb has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Arnaud began their career as a Software Engineer at Dassault Electronics in 1996 and worked there until 1998. Arnaud then served in the military in the Armée de l’air et de l’espace from 1998 to 1999. After that, they worked as a Project Leader at Thales from 1999 to 2002. From 2002 to 2011, they were a Research Scientist at INRIA. In 2011, Arnaud joined the Simula Research Laboratory as a Senior Research Scientist and later became the Head of the Software Engineering Department from February 2012 to June 2015. Arnaud also served as the Leader of the research-based innovation centre Certus from 2012 to 2019. Currently, they are working as a Chief Research Scientist/Research Professor at Simula Research Laboratory. In addition, they are a Project Coordinator at AI4CCAM starting from January 2023.
Arnaud Gotlieb has a solid educational background in computer science and mathematics. Arnaud completed their Master's degree (DEA) in Mathematiques et Informatique at the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis in 1995. Following that, they pursued a PhD in Computer Science at the same university, graduating in 2000. Arnaud's dedication to education continued as they obtained a Habilitation à Diriger les Recherches (HDR) in Computer Science from the University of Rennes in France, which they completed in 2011.
