Jim Mullin has a diverse and extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Jim started their career at Bend Research, Inc. in 2003 as a Research Fellow, where they conducted research in various areas of the company, with a focus on numerical modeling. Jim also gained hands-on experience in nanoparticle anti-solvent precipitation, spray drying, homogenization, and polymer synthesis during their time there. In 2014, they joined Simulations Plus, Inc. as a Senior Scientist II and later took on the role of Team Leader, Simulation Technologies in 2017. In this role, they developed software to help pharmaceutical scientists predict dissolution and absorption aspects of drug delivery. Jim also provided consulting services to clients on their projects in drug delivery. Currently, Jim holds the position of Sr. Principal Scientist at Simulations Plus, Inc.
Jim Mullin attended Washington State University from 1999 to 2002, where they earned a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering.
