Michael Barrie

Michael Barrie is a medical doctor who currently serves as the Medical Director for Special Projects at SimX. Prior to this, they were an assistant professor at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where they supervised residents and provided direct clinical care to emergency department patients. Michael has also worked as a research assistant at Case Western Reserve University, where they managed a lab and conducted research on DNA damage and repair mechanisms.

Michael Barrie studied biology as an undergraduate at Case Western Reserve University. Michael then attended The Ohio State University College of Medicine, where they earned their M.D. Finally, they completed a study abroad program at Victoria University of Wellington.

They are on a team with Arjun Gupta - Medical Oversight Board, Jonathan Lin - Medical Oversight Board, and Brian Young - Medical Oversight Board. Michael Barrie reports to Srihari Namperumal, MD, Chief Architect.
