Chris Prokes

Chris Prokes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. They have held positions in various organizations, including Sinclair Community College, GLG, The Tait Foundation, International Board of Standards for Training, Performance, and Instruction (IBSTPI), City of Vandalia, Ohio, OHIO COUNCIL FOR THE SOCIAL STUDIES, Bowling Green State University, Study.com, and SpotOn™ The Classroom Content Selector.

At Sinclair Community College, Chris served as the Program Director of Strategy and Innovation, overseeing eLearning initiatives and the Innovation Lab. They also worked as an Adjunct Faculty member and Senior Instructional Designer.

At GLG, Chris held the role of Network Member, Expert, utilizing their extensive experience in education to help clients solve challenges in eLearning and other relevant areas.

Furthermore, Chris has worked as an Adjunct Professor at Bowling Green State University, an Independent Contractor/Lesson Writer at Study.com, and a Resource Reviewer at SpotOn™ The Classroom Content Selector, among other roles.

Chris Prokes earned a Doctorate in Educational Technology from Boise State University from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Bowling Green State University from 2006 to 2007. Their Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education was also obtained from Bowling Green State University from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, Chris has obtained various certifications, including as a K-12 Reviewer, Master Reviewer, and Peer Reviewer Course from QM Quality Matters, Concussion Training from the National Federation of State High School Associations in 2011, and OHSAA Baseball - Class 1 from the Ohio High School Athletic Association in 2008. They have also completed the Quality Matters APPQMR and Quality Matters PRC courses, although the specific years of completion are not provided.
