Prior to joining Sinclair Group, Alex Manse served as a Principal and Managing consultant for a niche organizational performance consultancy specializing in the major capital projects and organizational performance. He was most recently the lead consultant on two of the world’s largest oil and gas capital projects. A recognized strategic and performance consultant, Alex is a highly sought after keynote speaker and expert advisor for several national industry organizations including the University of Texas’ Construction Industry Institute (CII), American Petroleum Institute (API), American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) and the American Association of General Contractors (AGC). Alex is regarded by many as one of the most dynamic speakers and trainers and workshop leaders in industry.

He has an extensive professional background in the oil and gas industry spending the majority of his career with ExxonMobil in various positions such as Process Engineer, Manufacturing Manager, Construction Manager, VP of Safety & Health, and Plant Manager along with various other corporate and regional assignments in both upstream and downstream operations. During his very successful career with one of the world’s leading corporations, Alex was nominated by ExxonMobil and awarded “Engineer of the Year” by the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE).

Alex’s passion for safety has led him to be recognized as one of the foremost experts in developing the next evolution of safety excellence. He also possesses a depth of expertise in capital project planning, major project execution, diversity of cultures and work performance, operational & organizational excellence, and project alliance development. Applying all these areas of expertise, Alex has worked on “mega” & “giga” joint ventures projects with some of the world’s largest companies such as Saudi Aramco, Samsung, Royal Dutch Shell, Chevron and Daimler.

He has also worked as Chief Operating Officer, Managing Partner and President of three private equity firms focused in related construction industries while continuing to consult for a wide range of companies including Kellogg Brown & Root, AT&T, Nestle, Skanska, Intel, University of Texas Athletics, Monsanto and other Fortune 500 Companies around the world. Today, he is regarded by many as one of the nation’s most influential consultants working with clients in capital projects, safety, leadership, organizational & operational performance and safety.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Murray State University and performed his graduate studies in Safety & Environmental Engineering and MBA at Princeton and Tulane Universities respectively.
