Hassan Farooq has a diverse work experience in various information technology roles. Hassan Farooq started their career as an Internee at Corvit Networks in 2013 and later worked as an Assistant Executive Engineer, providing technical support and implementing networks. In 2015, they joined Engro Foods Limited as a Lead Network and Security Engineer, managing complex networks and satellite and internet links to multiple locations. In 2016, they moved to Engro Corp as a Lead Network and Security Engineer, where they managed the core network of all Engro companies and implemented network upgrades. Hassan Farooq also worked as the Head of Information Technology at Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company (SECMC), where they deployed a comprehensive skill set to drive transformative initiatives and enhance operational efficiency. Throughout their career, Hassan Farooq has demonstrated expertise in information security, network management, and strategic ICT planning.

Hassan Farooq obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a focus on Computer Systems Networking from Sir Syed University between 2009 and 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Metric from The Educators in 2003-2004. Hassan has also obtained several additional certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2023, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA, and multiple networking certifications from Cisco, such as CCNP and CCNA. Hassan Farooq has also achieved certifications in ethical hacking and forensic investigation from EC-Council. Additionally, Hassan holds the HCIE certification from Huawei.
