Vicente Navarro Pareja

Vicente Navarro Pareja has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Vicente started their career as a Platform Manager at Scientists Without Borders at New York Academy of Sciences from 2008 to 2014. In 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer at Retina Technologies, where they contributed to the development of the OcuVue™ digital vision screening platform. From 2016 to 2023, Vicente worked at City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College as an Adjunct Lecturer and later as the Virtual Reality & Augmented Reality Coordinator. At Weill Cornell Medical College, they served as a Laboratory Supervisor since 1992, primarily focusing on the detection and analysis of circulating tumor cells (CTC). In 2020, Vicente founded SciGence, Inc. and developed the Quē platform, a remote learning VR platform focused on healthcare and STEM. Currently, they hold the roles of Interim Chief Technology Officer and XR Advisor at Seamless Integrated Dynamics (SInDyXR).

Vicente Navarro Pareja has a diverse educational background. In 1990, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Bio-Chemistry from the City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College. Vicente further pursued their education, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the same institution in 2002.

Vicente continued to expand their knowledge and skills through various certifications. In 2017, they obtained a Certificate in Artificial Intelligence from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Vicente also received training in Data Modeling/Warehousing and Database Administration from SQLBI in the same year. Additionally, they gained certification in Executive Leadership from Cornell University in 2014.

Prior to their higher education, Vicente earned their High School Diploma from the Manhattan Center for Science and Mathematics in 1990. It is worth noting that in 2017 and 2018, they pursued further professional development by obtaining additional certifications in Generative AI with Large Language Models from DeepLearning.AI and Amazon Web Services, as well as a Certified AR/VR Developer Level 1 from Lehman College / CUNY.
