Louis Chan

Louis Chan is a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Singapore Aero Engine Services Private Limited (SAESL) since September 2022, with prior experience as a Lecturer at the Institute of Technical Education from January 2021 to September 2022. Previously, Louis held the position of Sales Engineer at Sandvik Coromant from June 2013 to December 2020, where responsibilities included sales development and supporting customers with turnkey projects and manufacturing productivity improvements. Earlier roles include an engineering position supporting the South East Asia market at Sandvik Coromant, service as an Infantry in the Singapore Armed Forces from August 2011 to May 2013, and machine setup technician and intern roles at Onn Wah Precision Engineering focusing on CNC turning. Louis holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a Diploma in Digital and Precision Engineering from Nanyang Polytechnic.
