Phillip Coe

Phillip Coe is an experienced risk management professional with a robust background in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Head of Risk Control at PetroChina International since September 2017, Phillip oversees Product Control, Operational & Market Risk, and Derivative operations across various commodities including Oil, Biofuels, Gas, Power, LNG, and Emissions/Renewables. Prior to this role, Phillip held significant positions at Gazprom Marketing & Trading as the Global Head of Enterprise, Operational and Market Risk, and at BP as the Head of Market Risk for IST Oil Europe, focusing on Front Office Market Risk and Middle Office Trading Analytics. Phillip began their career as a Risk Manager for Crude Oil and Refined Products Trading at Glencore UK Ltd. and graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
