Jason Thorpe

Jason Thorpe has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and web development. Jason started their career as a Web Developer Intern at Virginia Military Institute in 2012, where they developed the fitness section of the VMI webpage using Ektron CMS. Jason then joined ChildFund International as a Web Designer in 2013, assisting the Digital Team in migrating HTML web content to a new website. Jason also worked at Longwood University as a Library Systems Specialist, where they monitored, maintained, and troubleshooted the design and functionality of the Library's website and web-based services. In 2014, Jason joined SingleComm as a Software Engineer and later became a Junior Backend Developer. Jason is currently working at SingleComm, and the duration of their latest role is not specified. Before joining SingleComm, they volunteered at Patriot Initiatives as a Web Developer, where they assisted in the development of a web application to help Military Veterans find jobs using HTML, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL.

Jason Thorpe received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with a minor in Applied Mathematics from Virginia Military Institute. Jason attended the institute from 2009 to 2013.
