Webnesh Haile

Webnesh Haile is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in construction law. As the Founder and Principal Lawyer at Traction Legal since January 2022, Webnesh Haile provides integrated fractional in-house counsel services and project lawyer support for construction companies. Previously, Webnesh Haile held positions at Singleton Urquhart Reynolds Vogel LLP as a Lawyer in the Construction and Infrastructure Practice Group, and at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP as an Associate in the Construction Group. Early legal career experience includes articling at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP and serving as Coordinator for the Ontario Law Student Mental Health Initiative. Webnesh Haile also founded and served as the CEO of Grade Up, a tutoring service connecting skilled tutors with students. Webnesh Haile earned a J.D. from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Toronto - Innis College.
