Melanie Yan

Melanie Yan has a solid work experience in financial reporting, control management, and audit roles. Melanie is currently working at Singlife as the Vice President of Financial Reporting & Control Management and previously worked there as an Assistant Manager in the same department. Before Singlife, they worked at Aviva Singapore as an Assistant Manager in Financial and Operational risk control management. Melanie has also worked at BDO LLP Singapore as an Audit Manager and had a role as an Assistant Audit Manager at KPMG Singapore. At the beginning of their career, they worked as a Senior Audit Associate at KPMG Malaysia.

Melanie Yan obtained a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree from Monash University from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed the South Australian Matriculation program at Taylor's University in 2007. Melanie also holds additional certifications, including the IBF Standards Operational Risk Management Specialist (Level 1) from the National University of Singapore and the CPA Australia certification, obtained in 2020 and 2014 respectively.
