Sam Simopoulos

Sam Simopoulos is an accomplished Information Technology Director with extensive experience in the insurance and financial services sectors. Currently serving as Information Technology Director at Singlife since December 2021, Sam previously held multiple leadership roles at Aviva Ltd from October 2009 to December 2021, including Information Technology Director for Asia and Director of IT - Solution Delivery Shared Services & CIO Singapore. Prior experience includes serving as Director and General Manager of IT Development at Aviva Australia from 1989 to 2009 and General Manager IT at AVIVA during the same period. Sam began a career in IT at AAMI as a Senior Analyst Programmer from February 1986 to July 1989. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business in Business Studies from Victoria College and a Bachelor of Business (IT) from Deakin University.
