Yu Xiang

Senior Scientist, Bioinformatics at Singular Genomics

Yu Xiang is a Senior Scientist in Bioinformatics at Singular Genomics since May 2022. Previously, Yu Xiang was a Postdoctoral Associate in Bioinformatics at Duke University from October 2018 to May 2022, where responsibilities included developing nova sequencing methods to investigate gene regulation mechanisms and a computational pipeline for chromatin conformation analysis. Prior to that, Yu Xiang served as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Bioinformatics at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston from February 2016 to September 2018, focusing on the integrative analysis of The Cancer Genome Atlas data and RNA processing events in cancer. Yu Xiang earned a PhD in Microbiology from the Institut Pasteur of Shanghai between 2008 and 2015 and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Wuhan University from 2004 to 2008.
