Emmanouil Karavanos

Emmanouil Karavanos has a strong background in software development and analysis. Emmanouil started their career as a Programmer at Altec SA, where they worked on the Insurance Business Software (I. B. S) application for insurance agencies from November 1998 to January 2003.

In 2003, Emmanouil joined Mutual Assurance Brokers SA as an IT Manager, Developer, and Analyst. Emmanouil utilized their ten years of experience in insurance software to analyze and develop a client/server ERP software that covered all company departments. This software became an integral tool for insurance office procedures and workflows, installed on all company computers and used by various insurance dealers throughout Greece.

From January 2017 to September 2021, Emmanouil worked at OLYMPUS MARINE GROUP as a Database and Software Developer - Analyst. Emmanouil was part of a team that developed a software platform called V.O. This platform provided innovative solutions for accessing and monitoring naval data from vessels in the fleet of their partners.

Alongside their role at OLYMPUS MARINE GROUP, Emmanouil also worked as a Freelancer Database and Software Developer at Mystikode. Since June 2017, they have been offering software solutions and services to various customers, including website creation, custom desktop software development, hardware and network support, and database administration.

Most recently, Emmanouil Karavanos joined SingularLogic in September 2021 as a Senior Business Analyst.

Emmanouil Karavanos obtained their BSc degree in Computing Science from Staffordshire University from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended Omega Vocational Institute from 1994 to 1996, where they specialized in IT as a Computing specialist. In 1992, they completed their secondary education at 6th Lyceum Kallitheas, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.

In terms of additional certifications, Emmanouil Karavanos received the Business Analysis Foundations certification from LinkedIn in July 2022.
