Nathalie Plundrich, PhD, has a diverse and extensive work experience. Nathalie currently holds the positions of Technology Development Manager and Food Technologist at SinnovaTek, SinnoVita, and FirstWave since February 2022. Nathalie is responsible for managing technology development and conducting research in the field of food science.

Nathalie Plundrich, PhD, has an extensive education history in the field of food science. Nathalie began their educational journey at Jörg-Zürn-Gewerbeschule in Überlingen, Germany from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained a state-approved biological technical assistant degree with a major in Biology/Biotechnology. Moving forward, they pursued their undergraduate studies at Hochschule Furtwangen from 2008 to 2011, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Bio-and Process Technology with a major in Biotechnology.

Nathalie's passion for food science led their to North Carolina State University, where they furthered their studies. Nathalie completed their Master's degree in Food Science from 2012 to 2014. Following this, they continued their academic pursuit at the same institution and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Food Science from 2014 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Nathalie Plundrich also holds a certification in FDA/USDA Better Process Control School. The exact date of their certification is unknown, as it was obtained during the fall of an unspecified year.
