Conny Standaert

Conny Standaert has extensive experience in the textiles industry, currently holding the position of Military Development at Sioen Industries since May 2005, where responsibilities include evaluating tenders for police and military applications, sourcing fabrics and trimmings, providing technical support for sales, conducting research and development, and purchasing based on technical research. Prior to this role, Conny served as Quality Manager for the Beauflor Vinyl department at Beaulieu International Group, and as Quality Supervisor for military fabrics at Utexbel, where the focus was on quality service and acting as a liaison between production and military customers. Conny began the professional career as Shift Manager at Van der Eecken in the twist and heatset of carpet yarns. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Textiles from HOGENT and a secondary degree in maths and sciences from Sint Vincentiusinstituut Torhout.
