Marco Venanzetti

Marco Venanzetti is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the aerospace and defense industries. Currently serving as Direttore generale and Direttore Operations at SIPAL S.p.A. since April 2023, and Segretario generale at the Italy-UAE Business Council, Marco has previously held positions such as Business Development & Advanced Concepts Manager and Senior Advisor at Northrop Grumman Italia, and Direttore Generale at Mirai Industries. Notably, Marco was Executive Vice President for the L-39NG program at AERO Vodochody AEROSPACE a.s., overseeing a €130M budget and a 300-member team. With a rich background at Alenia Aermacchi and the Italian Air Force, including roles such as Senior Vice President Flight Operations and Chief Test Pilot, Marco’s expertise is reinforced by advanced education from institutions like SDA Bocconi and the USAF Test Pilot School.
