Jeffrey Allen has a diverse work experience, primarily in the oil and gas industry. Jeffrey started their career as a Research Assistant Intern at Southwest Research Institute in 2008. After that, they worked as a Consulting Petroleum Geologist at Weiser-Brown Oil Company and as a Consulting Geologist at Alta Mesa Holdings for Allen-Hoffman Exploration Company. Jeffrey also served as a Geologist, Technological Consultant, and Sales Consultant at Allen-Hoffman Exploration Company, where they focused on selling prospects and projects in Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas.

In addition to their oil and gas roles, Jeffrey has held various positions in professional organizations, including being a Member House of Delegates and serving on the Membership Growth Committee at Houston Geological Society. Jeffrey was also involved with SIPES Houston, where they served as President and Newsletter Editor.

Jeffrey's entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish their own company, Allen Energy LLC, during the downturn in the oil industry. Jeffrey has also been engaged in business development as the Director of Business Development at EnergyFunders.

Furthermore, Jeffrey has been actively involved in the community through their roles at the Petroleum Club of Houston, where they served as a Board Member and President of the Young Professional Association. Jeffrey also owned and managed Cannon Fitness and Performance, a strength and conditioning gym in Houston.

Through their work experiences, Jeffrey has developed skills in project management, geology, sales, consulting, and leadership.

Jeffrey Allen earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from The University of Texas at San Antonio, completing their studies from 2005 to 2009. In addition, they enrolled in the Geoscience Subsurface Interpretation and Mapping Program at Subsurface Consulting Associates in 2008. It is not specified whether they completed this program or obtained a certificate.
