Kees Ruck

Business Developer, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg at Sirius Medical

Kees Ruck is a business developer who has worked for Sirius Medical since April 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a business development consultant for Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. from January to April 2018. There, they were responsible for assessing the current KAM structure and making recommendations for inclusion new roles, as well as being involved in the recruitment of sales leadership roles. Kees also created job descriptions for sales leadership roles and KAMs, launched and implemented the Daiichi Sankyo Key Account Management Model, and created a strategic plan for all key hospitals by education and coaching KAMs. Additionally, they implemented a sales reporting dashboard and created a training and development plan for customer-facing roles. From July 2016 to October 2017, they held the interim position of Country Development at Daiichi Sankyo Netherlands. In this role, they successfully relaunched a product which resulted in tenfold sales growth within 12 months. Kees also increased market share in the €100 mil+ NOAC market, accelerated key account management, and exceeded top-line and bottom-line targets. Finally, they improved the winning spirit, engagement, shared values and selling skills of the team.

Ruck has a bachelor's degree in physical therapy from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Kees also has a postgraduate certificate in leadership capability from Glasgow Caledonian University and a certification in value based health care from the Decision Institute. In addition, Ruck has completed a course in Orchestrating Winning Performance from IMD.
