Brian Norton

Brian Norton has a diverse work experience in the insurance and actuarial field. Brian is currently working at SiriusPoint as the Head of Property Pricing and Analytics. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Property Pricing and Analytics, Americas at the same company. Norton also worked at Third Point Reinsurance Ltd (TPRE) as an AVP - Catastrophe Risk Manager & Actuary. Brian played a key role in building Third Point Re's Property Catastrophe Reinsurance Portfolio and was responsible for modeling, pricing, accumulation, and reporting. Norton successfully grew the book to around $70M in premium and contributed to Third Point Re's first profitable underwriting quarters. Before joining TPRE, they worked at Everest Reinsurance as a Manager - Catastrophe Modeling Actuary. Norton started their career as a Student at Duke University and gained experience as an intern at EY and AMA Consulting Engineers.

Brian Norton graduated from Duke University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In June 2019, they obtained the certification of Fellow in the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) from the Casualty Actuarial Society.
