Rick Handt

Rick Handt is a seasoned professional in applied machine learning and data science, currently serving as the VP at SiriusXM since June 2022, where Rick leads the team focused on developing recommendation and personalization components for digital and automotive products. Previously, Rick held the role of VP of Machine Learning & Innovation at Disney Streaming Services, overseeing similar initiatives for Disney+, ESPN+, and Star+. Additional experience includes leadership positions at iQor, Priceline.com, Netezza, and the US Department of Justice, showcasing a strong background in analytics, product development, and technology strategy. Rick's educational foundation includes a BS in Management Information Systems from California State University-Long Beach, complemented by studies at UC Irvine.
