Ciprian Voicu has a diverse range of work experience in the field of fibre optics. Ciprian started their career at Diamond Romania as a Production Manager, where they managed and motivated the operational staff. Ciprian also handled fibre optic network design, implementation, splicing, and testing. Ciprian then moved on to UPC Romania, where they worked as a Senior Fiber Optic Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for designing fibre networks, implementing new splice planning models, maintaining documentation, and providing technical support. Ciprian also managed a team and coordinated with internal teams and subcontractors for critical projects. Later, they worked at IP ONE Ltd as a Technical Planner, where they focused on OSP network design and FTTH network planning. Finally, Ciprian worked at SIRO as a Fibre Optic Passive Design Engineer, where they created HLDs for the deployment of FTTH optical networks. Throughout their career, Ciprian has demonstrated expertise in various aspects of fibre optic technology, including route selection, enclosure placement, power budget calculation, and OTDR measurements interpretation. Most recently, they have been self-employed as a Fibre Optics Consultant.
