John Glaeser

Instructional Designer at SirsiDynix

John Glaeser is an experienced instructional designer and musician with a diverse background in education and performance. Currently serving as an Instructional Designer at SirsiDynix and as Second Horn for the Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra since 2014, John also operates John's Horn Studio, providing lessons to musicians of all ages in Amherst and Lynchburg. Previous roles include adjunct instructor positions in horn performance and music theory at various institutions, including the University of Lynchburg, Randolph College, Sweet Briar College, and the University of South Carolina Aiken. John has also contributed as a staff musician at Warren Baptist Church and performed as a French horn player in the US Army. Currently pursuing a PhD in Instructional Design and Technology from Old Dominion University, John holds a Master of Music degree in Horn Performance from the University of South Carolina.
