Gianluigi Rozza

Gianluigi Rozza is a distinguished academic in the field of Numerical Analysis and Scientific Computing, currently serving as a Full Professor at SISSA since November 2012. As the Director's Delegate for Innovation and Industrial Cooperation at SISSA since 2016, Gianluigi Rozza has significantly contributed to scientific and technological transfer. Gianluigi Rozza holds an ERC consolidator grant for the AROMA-CFD project as the principal investigator. Previous roles include Scientific Director at FAST COMPUTING srl, Research Affiliate and Post Doctoral Research Associate at MIT, and various positions at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, where responsibilities encompassed lecturing and research in computational mechanics and reduced order modelling. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Applied Mathematics from EPFL and a post-doc in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.
