Leroy Allala has extensive experience in executive roles related to international relations and economic development. Leroy is currently serving as the President and CEO of Sister Cities International since January 2020. Prior to this, they worked for World Business Chicago for twelve years, starting in February 2008, where they held the position of Executive Vice President. During their time at World Business Chicago, they received recognition for their successful Sister Cities Program. From February 2008 to December 2019, they also served as the Executive Director of Chicago Sister Cities International, spearheading a merger and expanding the organization's impact. Before these roles, Leroy Allala was the Executive Director of the U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce from February 1994 to February 2008. In this position, they were responsible for managing all aspects of the Chamber's business, including staff and budget.
