Lisa Diaz Nash

Lisa Diaz Nash serves as the Mayor and previously as Deputy Mayor of San Mateo, California, where key responsibilities include shaping citywide policies and strategies as part of the City Council. Concurrently, Lisa holds multiple leadership roles, including Board Chair at Atma Connect, Co-Captain of the Sister District Project CA Peninsula, and Board Director at San Mateo Rotary Haciendas LLC. Additional experience encompasses consulting as President of LN Marketing Associates and participation on various boards, including the San Mateo Public Library Board of Trustees and HIP Housing. Lisa's educational background includes an Executive MBA from Harvard Business School and graduate certificates in Mandarin from National Taiwan Normal University and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, alongside a BA in Political Science/History from Swarthmore College. Lisa is committed to fostering community engagement and progressive initiatives.
