Kim Westerman has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Kim began their career as the Senior Support Coordinator at HighBridge Community Life Center in 2005. Kim then worked as the Lung Cancer Research Group Administrative Assistant at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics from 2006 to 2008. Following that, they served as the Volunteer Coordinator at St. Patrick Center from 2008 to 2010.
From 2010 to 2013, Kim worked as the Volunteer & Human Resources Coordinator at The Magic House, St. Louis Children's Museum, before becoming a Freelance Communications Specialist at St. Patrick Center for a brief period. Kim then worked as a Research and Development Specialist at the Greater St. Louis Area Council Boy Scouts of America from 2013 to 2015.
Kim's next role was as the Congregational Communications Director at Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet in 2015. Kim then joined Seeds of Justice Network as a Communications Specialist in 2018. Kim'sresponsibilities at Seeds of Justice Network included managing communication activities.
Kim Westerman obtained their BA in Communication with a focus on Journalism from Truman State University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Kim then pursued their MPA in Public Affairs, specializing in Non-Profit Management, at the La Follette School of Public Affairs at UW-Madison from 2006 to 2008. In addition to their formal educational background, in September 2013, they obtained a Chancellor's Certificate in Volunteer Management from the University of Missouri - St. Louis.
