Zubaida Bai

Zubaida Bai serves as the President and CEO of Grameen Foundation, a nonprofit focused on empowering the poor, particularly women, to combat poverty through various resources and training since November 2022. Bai has extensive experience in social entrepreneurship, demonstrated through roles such as a member of the Social Enterprise Advisory Council at Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship and an advisory board member for strategic partnerships at Sisu Global. As the founding director of the Happy Woman Foundation and former managing director at CARE Social Ventures Corp, Bai has been instrumental in promoting women's leadership in business and creating sustainable social enterprises. Bai holds multiple degrees, including an MBA in Global Social and Sustainable Enterprise from Colorado State University and has participated in executive education programs at Harvard Kennedy School and Stanford University. Bai's contributions have also been recognized in various public speaking engagements and through participation in initiatives like the UN Global Compact’s Local SDG Pioneers program.
