Nick Wayth CEng FEI FIMechE is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Chief Executive at the Energy Institute since May 2021, Nick also holds positions as an International Advisory Council member at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS and a Board Member at POWERful Women. As a Strategy Advisor for Sitigrid, Nick contributes to the development of a peer-to-peer trading platform that enhances local energy markets. Prior to these roles, Nick spent over two decades at bp, where responsibilities included Chief Development Officer for Alternative Energy and various leadership positions in investor relations and business advisement across regions such as the Middle East, Asia, and North America. Nick's academic background includes a PhD and BEng in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the University of Southampton.
