Kristian Taipale

Kristian Taipale is a highly experienced medical professional and consultant with a diverse background in healthcare and development. Currently serving as Chief Development Physician for both Health & Hospital Services and Primary Healthcare at Pohjois-Karjalan hyvinvointialue – Siun sote since June 2021, Kristian previously held the position of General Practitioner in the City of Helsinki for a brief period in early 2021. Prior experience includes managerial and consulting roles at Deloitte and Bain & Company, as well as General Practitioner positions in Riihimäki and Helsinki. Kristian's academic credentials include a Specialist Degree in Medicine with a focus on Public Health, a Doctor of Philosophy in Oncology and Cancer Biology, and a Doctor of Medicine, all obtained from the University of Helsinki. Additionally, a Bachelor of Science in Finance was completed at Aalto University.
