Susanna Nevalainen

Susanna Nevalainen has extensive experience in social work, primarily within healthcare and immigrant services. Currently serving as a social worker at Siun sote since June 2020, Susanna previously held similar roles at Kainuun sote and Kajaanin kaupunki, focusing on various aspects of social welfare, including the integration of refugees and residence permit holders. Additional experience includes working as a child welfare officer and as a research assistant and researcher in various organizations, including the National Institute for Health and Welfare and the University of Oulu. Susanna holds a Master’s degree in Social Sciences with a specialization in sociology from the University of Lapland, complemented by studies in psychology and Swedish language.
