Barry Shore

Chief Learning Officer & Co-Founder at Six Sigma Global Institute

Barry Shore has a long and varied career in engineering and academia. Starting in 1960, they worked as a Design Engineer for Boeing, followed by a Design Engineer role at General Electric in 1962. In 1963, they moved to Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Project Engineer. From 1965 to 1980, they were a PhD Student at the Wisconsin School of Business. In 1980, they began working as a Consultant for Arthur D. Little. From 1984 to 2009, they were a Professor at the University of New Hampshire. During this time, they also served as a Guest Lecturer at the University of Naples Federico II in 2009 and a Visiting Professor at Renmin University of China in 2012. Most recently, they have been the Chief Learning Officer & Co-Founder at Six Sigma Global Institute since 2015.

Barry Shore received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University between 1956 and 1960. Barry then completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1964. Barry went on to receive their PhD in Business and Economics from the Wisconsin School of Business between 1965 and 1968.
