Voice Director at Six to Start

Ella Watts has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the audio production and journalism industry. Ella began their career as a Head of Communications at Cam FM, where they received recognition for their innovation and creativity. Later, they worked as a journalist for Varsity Publications and Slate The Disco, writing reviews and interviews. Ella also had experience as a Content Curator at Consumer Intelligence, managing their subsidiary website and social media presence. Ella then joined BBC, first as an intern and later as an Audio Fiction Consultant, where they worked on new original drama and authored a notable 10-year overview of the audio drama industry. Ella continued their work in audio production at BBC Studios as a Podcast Producer for the Radio Comedy team, working on projects like Doctor Who: Redacted. Most recently, Ella is serving as a Voice Director at Six to Start.

Ella Watts attended King's College, Taunton from 2010 to 2012. However, no specific degree or field of study was mentioned during their time there. Ella then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic Studies at the University of Cambridge, from 2012 to 2015. Ella continued their education at Goldsmiths, University of London, where they completed a Master's degree in Radio from 2017 to 2018.
