Tom Joosten

Tom Joosten is an experienced healthcare manager with a strong background in operations management, strategic project management, and clinical supervision. Currently serving as Manager Zorg at SJG Weert since May 2019, Tom leads patient logistics and change projects within the hospital context. Previously, Tom held a supervisory role for clinical psychologists in training at TJO Consultancy and played a significant role as Strategic Projectmanager at Koninklijke Kentalis, focusing on e-health innovations. At Adelante Zorggroep, Tom managed the Centre of Expertise, overseeing research and development in rehabilitation and audiological care. Tom’s academic credentials include a Master's in Health Policy, Economics, and Management from Maastricht University and a PhD in Health Operations Management from Tilburg University, complemented by extensive research experience at GGzE in the mental health care sector.
